Sarah's birthday is coming up on Wednesday, she turns 9. She has been very interested in taking pictures since I've had my camera in hand more and more these days so we figured she was old enough to have a camera of her very own. We couldn't wait to give it to her on her birthday so she got it early and has been practicing with me. I took this picture of her and she took the one below of me at the same time, and I have to say that I think she is pretty good already. Of course I might be alittle biased too, but check out her camera angle on this shot! Happy early birthday Sarah!

Dan bought me this hat and it totally rocks. I love sun hats and have always wanted one. Right away Grace got her cowgirl boots on and did some posing with my awesome hat.

{morning dew}

I took a bunch of pictures yesterday of the kids eating apples and posing but I forgot to reset the ISO. It was on 1600 because I had been practicing taking pictures in low light the day before. Needless to say they didn't turn out so well. They were all grainy looking. Lesson learned: Check all settings before taking any pictures. I know it was a real ameture thing to do, but hey I am an ameture.

This is Adam's usual mood when he turns to find me with the camera pointed in his direction! That is the reason there will probably be more pictures of Sarah, Grace and Ben then there will be of Adam and Jack. Although Jack did do some posing for me yesterday while eating his apple.
